School Resource Officer- Yazoo County School District
To perform a wide variety of police and law enforcement activities specifically related to the school environment during the school year. Tasks are primarily service-oriented and include working with and mentoring students, disseminating information, arbitrating disputes, and providing assistance through referrals, property protection, crime prevention, investigative, and other public safety services. Chief Financial Officer-City of Canton
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time position in the City of Canton. The immediate supervisor for this position is the Mayor. This position requires high levels of competency in areas such as strategic management, municipal budgeting, accounting, and financial management in general. In addition, this position makes various reports to the Board of Aldermen with respect to budgetary concerns. The CFO works regular hours most of the time, with some flexibility when the workload demands it. There is night work on a regular basis, usually to attend meetings. Police Officer- City of Moss Point
The work of a police officer involves responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals and general enforcement of laws and ordinances.
Duties normally consist of routine patrol, preliminary investigation, and traffic regulation. Work involves an element of personal danger, and the employee must be able to exercise sound independent judgment under stress. The duties are performed in patrol cars or on foot. Supervision is received from superior officers who review work methods and results through accomplishments, personal inspection, and review of written reports covering activities and discussions.

Planning and Zoning Director- City of Gluckstadt
SUMMARY
The Planning and Zoning Director is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the City of Gluckstadt’s planning, zoning, and development functions. This role ensures that growth and development align with the City’s Comprehensive Plan, zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and long-term community goals. The Director provides leadership, professional planning expertise, and administrative management to support sustainable development, economic vitality, and preservation of community character.
As a newly formed City, this position would have responsibilities involving assisting with the creation of the long-range planning, zoning, building and code enforcement programs for the city. This position is responsible for the development, review and execution of departmental policies that pertain to the administration of the City’s planning, zoning, and building programs. The incumbent works under the general supervision of the Mayor, who evaluates work programs, conformance to established procedures, and accomplishment of desired results.
The incumbent is normally a reference source for questions regarding zoning, subdivision development, building permits, sign permits, inspections, flood zone information and inspections. The nature of these duties will vary depending on the various functions of the position. Work is performed with considerable independence within established policies and procedures, and any significant deviations are referred to superiors. Work and performance are evaluated on the basis of completeness, accuracy, initiative, and adherence to the established policy.
Work also involves the responsibility of directing, supervising, coordinating, and enforcing the inspection of buildings and their appearances throughout the City to assure adherence to municipal building, electrical and related codes, and ordinances, and for adherence to applicable standards of construction, maintenance, and safety.

Nature of Work
This is a highly responsible administrative, supervisory, and technical work directing fire suppression activities and Emergency Medical Services. Work involves responsibility for the administration and coordination of fire suppression activities through supervision of subordinate command-level officers and review of their activities.
