Zoning Administrator- City of Magee
The Zoning Administrator / Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for administering and enforcing the City of Magee’s Zoning Ordinance, land-use regulations, property maintenance standards, and related municipal codes. This position ensures compliance with the City’s development standards, promotes orderly growth, and protects the health, safety, and welfare of Magee residents.
Under the supervision of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen, this position works closely with the City Clerk, Building Official, Planning & Zoning Commission, Public Works, and the Magee Fire Department to carry out zoning reviews, inspections, permitting, and enforcement actions.

School Resource Officer- Yazoo County School District
To perform a wide variety of police and law enforcement activities specifically related to the school environment during the school year. Tasks are primarily service-oriented and include working with and mentoring students, disseminating information, arbitrating disputes, and providing assistance through referrals, property protection, crime prevention, investigative, and other public safety services. To develop positive relationships between students, faculty, and police while in the school setting.

SUMMARY:
This is highly responsible administrative and professional work in managing and directing all budget, fiscal, accounting, auditing, revenue administration, and treasury management activities for the City of Moss Point.
Work requires the application of the principles and practices of public finance, involving close supervision and participation in the detailed activities of these operations. Work is performed under general supervision of the City Clerk and Mayor with considerable independence in developing and effecting improved work methods and procedures.

Police Officer- City of Moss Point
The work of a police officer involves responsibility for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals and general enforcement of laws and ordinances.
Duties normally consist of routine patrol, preliminary investigation, and traffic regulation. Work involves an element of personal danger, and the employee must be able to exercise sound independent judgment under stress. The duties are performed in patrol cars or on foot. Supervision is received from superior officers who review work methods and results through accomplishments, personal inspection, and review of written reports covering activities and discussions.
